I’m almost halfway through Project 52. I’ve really had a blast, but my creativity has been waning a bit. This week I’m back to a more traditional composite. This started with a photograph I took at Padre Island in South Texas that was just a plain beach scene with a little structure in the middle.

Here we go with Week 18. I started with the boat photo that I took many years ago. I severely blurred the background and added the birds (the boat looked lonely). I applied several texture layers and finished up with some help from Topaz Studio. I’m really pleased with the way it turned out.
