I went on a quick trip to the Texas coast this weekend and although I didn’t make it to the beach, I could smell the salt air everywhere. So of course when I got back and wanted to do something about the Gulf. This is a photo I took several years ago on Padre Island, I believe. I wanted to give it a painterly look, so combining Topaz and The Oil Paint filter in Photoshop gave me just what I was looking for.
