– Welcome to week 13 of Project 52! If you read my last post, you know that I have been struggling a bit emotionally with Adobe’s AI. Don’t get me wrong, it’s some fantastic technology that I can find millions of uses for. I did use it a bit in this composition. First I will start by saying that the original background picture was mine that I took many years ago. However, that picture was about 1/3 smaller. I used Generative Fill to create the left 1/3 and the upper 1/3. It did a pretty good job. I added ducks, toning, texture, etc. Oddly though, if I run this through certain filters or external editors, it knows EXACTLY where the content add on the left was done and shows a vertical line marking it. Understand that I was editing the finished, single layer jpeg so it didn’t see any layers. Very strange. At any rate, I think the composition turned out ok.
