I created this in about 2 hours last night and went to bed.  I didn&#8217;t sleep very well and I woke up this morning and was in the shower thinking about this piece.  You see, when I stopped working last night, it was in the state you see except for the 3 small pelicans.  Only the big one in the middle was there.  This morning I was thinking I liked the piece but I didn&#8217;t feel the moon and the single pelican were strong enough to hold the piece up on their own.  I remembered that I had taken some photos of pelicans both on a trip to New Orleans about 12 years ago and also when I was at the Texas Coast more recently.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I went and started searching through the old photos until I found these 3.  One is from the NOLA trip and the other two are from Texas.  I added these three elements, played with the blend modes a little bit and the result is what you see here.
