I maintain that Cabo Wabo tequila is the best I have ever had. It’s great for cooking, shooting and, apparently, photographing. If you’ve never tried it, do yourself a favor and get a bottle. It’s worth it!

CHECK this out
I got this check in the mail. They spent 44 cents to send me 37. Not to mention the gas I would waste going to the bank to deal with it. I can’t decide if I should frame it or actually go into the bank with a smile and ask to cash it.

I’ve been in kind of a tie dyed, hippie mood of late so here is another psychedelic creation. The bronc is actually a photograph of a black, iron sculpture that hangs on my wall. The rest is the magic of photoshop.

For Project 365: This is a picture of the moon from tonight that I took and tweaked in Lightroom and Photoshop. I cloned it into several layers and then warped each layer individually. In the background is a pattern on red that was subjected to a radial blur.

Taking pictures for Project 365 and I noticed this weird growth out of a tree on the ranch. It looks like a big mouth that is eating insects…or something.

Today for project 365, I shot some cows in a field a couple of miles away. Why am I shooting cows? I have no idea.

I’ve been wanting to photograph water droplets and the like for a while but haven’t had much success. Today, I was perusing the internet and playing with photoshop and found out how to make a water splash from scratch. Here is my third attempt. Considering I just started this an hour or so ago, I think it looks pretty realistic. With practice, I think I can make it look better. The first photo is the splash that was created in photoshop (No outside photos). The second is the same picture with a strawberry (real photograph) added in so it looks like something is actually moving the water.

Maybe sometime I’ll post a ‘how to’ on this, but it would take me a while to type it out and get screen captures so, not today.

I went out to White Knuckle Ranch yesterday for it’s re-grand opening and shot some of the riders. Enjoy!

I went out to White Knuckle Ranch Motocross Track this morning to shoot the Re-Grand Opening under new management. I took a bunch of motocross shots and a few that weren’t. I decided to do the few that weren’t first.

This is Happy, my friend Chris’s dog. He’s managing the White Knuckle Ranch now. Err…Chris, not Happy.
