I went to the Harvest of Peace celebration at the meditation center and of course, I took my camera. I got a few interesting shots, mainly of a hand drum sitting in a window with the light streaming in. I tried several treatments in Photoshop Elements to improve it a bit. Not sure which I like best.

I loved the ring and couldn’t resist
This big guy (or girl…I’m ashamed to say I can’t tell) has taken up residence on the fence post next to the gate to the property. Unfortunately, I’ve had to mess his web up a few times because he builds it from the post to the gate, so in order to get out, it’s got to go. But he stays and rebuilds.
The name I know these guys by is Banana Spider. I’m sure they have a more proper name, but I’m not aware of it.
Next weekend I am taking a class in Miksang photography. This is photography from a contemplative point of view and it should be a blast. I can hardly wait!!
